Our viral Reusable Bald Cap™ is combination of a wig cap and bald cap system which features high-quality materials that are soft, comfortable, and easy to customize. The breathable bamboo material protects your natural hair from external friction while the faux-skin material is designed to look like skin and blend with your hairline when applied. Our faux-skin is a very thin & transparent material normally used in advanced hair systems, like toupees and wigs. This is a non-latex & non-silicone kind of material. It mimics the appearance of a natural scalp, providing a realistic and seamless base for attaching hair or creating styles. The thinness of the material allows for a natural hairline and easy blends with your skin, making it ideal for creating undetectable, lifelike hairstyles.

How long should it be worn?

This can depend on its use and climate conditions. If living in a moderate to cool climate, we recommend to wear the cap for no more than 24-48hrs at a time. If living in a very hot climate, we recommend to use it only for 24hrs.

How to Use

  1. Apply 2-3 layers of lace glue/adhesive below the hairline perimeter.
  2. Place the bald cap on your head and gently glue down the faux-skin material.
  3. [Recommended] Use an adjustable strap to melt the faux-skin material onto your hairline. Follow the instructions of the lace glue/adhesive on how long you should leave the glue to dry.
  4. Use our concealer stick or foundation of choice, to evenly tint the faux-skin material in sections. The brush end of the concealer stick can be used to blend for full coverage.
  5. Let sit for 3-5 minutes to dry or use a blow dryer on low heat. 
  6. Style as normal or install your lace wig unit as normal. 

Note: We recommend to use this unit for 24-72hrs if worn under a wig.

  • Front to back: 14-14.5"
  • Side to side across forehead: 12-12.5"
  • Side to side over top: 12.5-13"
  • Nape to neck: 5-5.5"

Care

  1. Please take care when unpacking your bald cap.
  2. Do not overstretch the faux-skin material as it increases wear & tear.
  3. Store your bald cap in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight or humidity.
  4. When using the adjustable straps, please ensure you apply the clips with the opening facing outward to avoid catching on the flap.
  5. The bald cap can be gently hand-washed with mild soap and water.
  6. Avoid soaking the bald cap in harsh chemicals and abrasive products.
  7. Always allow the bald cap to air dry. You should never use a hair-dryer as heat can increase the material's wear and tear.
  8. The bald cap is machine washable for 2-3 times at 35°. DO NOT PLACE IN A DRYER.

TO CLEAN THE BALD CAP:

1. You may use a lace glue/adhesive remover to clean dried glue stains from your bald cap using cotton pads or a soft damp cloth. If there is a larger stain you may use a mild soap but always ensure you wipe dry. DO NOT USE A GLUE/ADHESIVE REMOVER THAT CONTAINS LAVENDER OIL (e.g EBIN NEW YORK - WONDER LACE BOND REMOVER) or USE ACETONE.

2. Soak in lukewarm water: Begin by soaking the cap in lukewarm water for about 10-15 minutes. This helps soften the adhesive and make it easier to remove.

3. Use glue/adhesive remover: Apply the remover to areas of the faux-skin material where the glue/adhesive appears.

4. Gently remove glue/adhesive: Use a soft cloth or cotton pads to gently wipe away the softened adhesive residue. Avoid using excessive force or pulling on the faux-skin material, as this can damage it.

5. Repeat if necessary: Depending on the strength of the glue/adhesive and the amount of residue left, you may need to repeat the soaking and removal process multiple times until all the glue/adhesive is removed.

We do not recommend this product if you have the following hair conditions:


1. Folliculitis: Inflammation of hair follicles on the scalp

2. Trichotillomania: A disorder characterized by compulsive hair pulling

3. Chemotherapy-Induced Alopecia: Hair loss resulting from chemotherapy treatment

4. Scalp Sunburn: Overexposure to sunlight can cause sunburn on the scalp

5. Tinea capitis: Fungal infection of the scalp

6. Seborrheic dermatitis: Scalp inflammation

7. Psoriasis: Skin condition causing red, scaly patches

8. Eczema: Chronic skin inflammation

9. Contact dermatitis: Skin reaction to certain substances

10. Scalp Injuries or Cuts: Open wounds or sores on the scalp

11. Excessive Sweating: Individuals who experience excessive sweating on the scalp

This product is awesome , it melts well and looks great under the wigs but not sure it’s beginner friendly as I struggled with the application process and it eventually ripped I brought 2 caps and they both ripped. The material is quite delicate.

Really good 😊

I’ve tried it and it’s amazing. I’m not confident cutting the cap myself so I will be taking it along for my next wig install with my stylist. So far though and without even cutting it looks brill! Xx
